Hoisin is a dark, flavorful, thick, sauce which is used as a condiment with cooked foods or as an ingredient in stir fry dishes and grilling sauces. In 1986, Joyce Chen Foods became one of the first Asian companies to start certifying their bottled products Kosher. They now have six Joyce Chen items bearing the Star K Pareve certified symbol.
